Shipping & Returns

Made to Order, Shipped with Care

Every item from The Purple Tee is printed on-demand by our fulfillment partner, Printful. This means your product is made just for you after you order—reducing waste and ensuring quality.

Here's what you need to know about shipping, delivery, and returns.

1. Production Time

Because items are printed on-demand, production typically takes 2-7 business days after you place your order. This doesn't include shipping time.

During peak seasons (holidays, major events), production may take a bit longer. We'll keep you updated via email if there are any delays.

2. Shipping Options & Costs

Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout based on your location and the shipping method you select. Options typically include:

  • Standard Shipping: 5-10 business days (most affordable)
  • Express Shipping: 2-5 business days (faster delivery)
  • Priority Shipping: 1-3 business days (when you need it now)

Delivery times are estimates and don't include production time. International orders may take longer due to customs processing.

3. Tracking Your Order

Once your order ships, you'll receive an email with a tracking number and a link to track your package. You can also check your order status by contacting us at orders@thepurpletee.com with your order number.

4. International Shipping

We ship internationally to most countries where Printful operates. International orders may be subject to:

  • Customs fees: Import duties, taxes, or customs charges are the buyer's responsibility
  • Longer delivery times: Customs processing can add several days to delivery
  • Address restrictions: Some remote areas may not be serviceable

We're not responsible for delays caused by customs or carrier issues outside our control.

5. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost or arrives damaged, contact us at orders@thepurpletee.com within 30 days of the expected delivery date. We'll work with the carrier to resolve the issue and either reship your order or issue a refund.

Please note: We're not responsible for packages marked as "delivered" by the carrier but not received by you. If this happens, check with neighbors, building management, or the carrier first. If you still can't locate it, contact us and we'll do our best to help.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Defective or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, we'll make it right. Contact us at orders@thepurpletee.com within 30 days of delivery with:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photos of the defect or damage (if applicable)

We'll either send you a replacement or issue a full refund—your choice.

Change of Mind

Because items are printed on-demand specifically for you, we cannot accept returns for buyer's remorse, incorrect size selection, or change of mind.

Please double-check your size, color, and design before ordering. If you're unsure about sizing, refer to the size chart on the product page or contact us for guidance.

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. If you need a different size or color, you'll need to place a new order. If the original item was defective or incorrect, we'll cover the cost of the replacement.

7. Refunds

Refunds for defective or incorrect items are processed within 5-10 business days after we receive your return request and verify the issue.

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. If you paid with a credit card, the refund may take an additional 5-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

8. Order Cancellations

You can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it, as long as production hasn't started. After that, we can't cancel because your item is already being printed.

To request a cancellation, email us at orders@thepurpletee.com with your order number as soon as possible.
